If you use BSIM3 models and you are not using BSIMSolvPlus you ARE losing money. On every project that you use models developed with software from BTA Technologies and Silvaco instead of BSIMSolvPlus you ARE losing more than 2 and less than 3 % yield. The reason is pure physics, BSIMSolvPlus uses mathematics that is very advanced to fit the BSIM3 model and is developed by a winner (just check out the mathematics in my paper IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices, vol 43, No. 1, January 1996 pp 40-46 to understand how a real engineer thinks). If you are using PEL from Agilent, you are beyond hope and I cannot help you.
